Waxing
Waxing allows for the hair to be pulled from the root, producing softer smoother feeling skin. The hair usually takes between 3-4 weeks to grow back, but can be as much as 8 weeks, depending on how slowly your hair grows.
When preparing for a waxing treatment you need to gently exfoliate your skin 2-3 days prior to your waxing treatment. This is especially helpful for leg and full body waxing, it allows for speed waxing and the service to go much more quickly. We also ask that you make sure the hair is at least ¼” long.
With any type of hair removal there may some pain involved. Depending on the area being waxed and how sensitive your skin is will determine more of a pain factor. Our technicians are highly trained, and do everything to ensure low pain levels. The wax that we use in our salon and spa is a high quality cream and honey based wax, also making the service a more pleasant experience.
*Tip* When waxing sensitive areas like the bikini, take an antacid 30 minutes prior to the waxing service, this will reduce redness and take away some of the sting.
